When you are working with us on a new kitchen, bath, or other living space, we can provide the counter tops. We offer may different counter top materials:
- Natural Stone
- Engineered Quartz
Each counter top material has pros and cons. If you need help deciding which counter top materials to use, ask our award winning design team. We can guide you in your design/selection process.
The Counter Top Process
When selecting natural stone, quartzite, and some engineered quartz products it is wise to select the actual slabs prior to fabrication. This process allows you the opportunity to verify that the color, grains/veins, and patterns are acceptable. If you work with us on your project, we will gladly arrange for a slab selection appointment. We will help guide you in choosing a selection that coordinates well with your atmosphere and functions well for the intended use of the space.
Common Steps For Stone & Quartz:
- Selection is made
- You retain product with a deposit
- Cabinets are installed and counter top template is created
- Template is marked on the slabs
- You review photos of the template laid on the slabs before it is cut (optional)
- The slabs are cut to fit your design
- The cut pieces are professionally installed in place (average 10-15 days from template)
When selecting wood counter tops, you view a sample of the wood species, finish, and edge treatment. After the cabinets are installed a template is made. The wood is fabricated to fit and finished with your selected edge treatment and finish option. The counter is then installed by professionals. Wood grains and finishes will vary due to the natural gains in the wood.
